I got a TARDIS cookie jar today. I’m quite stoked. It lights up and makes noise when you open it; as well as when you press on the lamp on the top.

So I’m just watching Young Justice Ep. 23 “Insecurity” and I noticed that the teleporter that Artemis took from the city to the Harbor Cave was a Police Public Call Box. They’re in Star City which is in fictional America so what the hell is a call box even going there? Clearly the writer and/or artist on this show are Whovians to make her step into a TARDIS and transport to the cave. Love it. Also in this episode so far I loved that VERY obvious Spider-Man referenced they made with the villain Black Spider. The character itself is like an evil Spider-Man as he has the same basic abilities. The best was how the episode began with him swinging on his webs through a spiders web, then the silhouette of him swinging through the city was great too. Not to mention he was voiced by Josh Keaton who recently voiced Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008-2009). Young Justice is great for making in references as homages to both comics and animation and that is one of the things i admire about this series. Show it some love and give it a watch, its very well done.
