…even though this is the American cover but WHATEVER! Just pretend that it says “DIGITAL COPY” instead of that “ULTRAVIOLET” jazz and the word “Superman” is written in yellow, and the rest is white. ALSO it features the new DC Logo instead of the old one…ALSO French words because it wouldn’t be a Canadian product if it didn’t have double the amount of writing…

The Batman Motion Picture Anthology is on its way to me also. I’m almost more excited for that so I can relive the mediocrity of those bad Bat-films.
I’m very against and very for some of these Star Wars Blu-ray changes, Han NEEDS to shoot first not at sorta the same time. Darth shouting “NOOOOOOOO!” was not needed, and is a meme so it will be extra mocked. Adding the CG Yoda into Phantom Menace is fantastic as the puppet in that was horrible. Ewok blinking, who cares? not sure how I feel about the “dragon call” from Obi-Wan with the Sand People yet…it’s a bit insane but then again the Jedi are masters of like, everything. The added Tie Fighters in the “It’s a Trap!” scene are a bit much, it’s like an entire galaxy’s worth of fighters coming at them but oh well makes them look more badass for still surviving I guess. There is more I’m sure that I’m forgetting or that have not been revealed, also changes that already existed from previous re-releases I’m sure will be present such as the CG creatures on Tatooine and the Jedi temple (somehow) being alive at the end of Return of the Jedi and of course young Anakin being a force ghost (facepalm) - wish Qui Gon could have been a force ghost at least to Obi (yeah i call him Obi) in the originals since they set that up at the end of Revenge of the Sith…either way the changes will never be enough to deter me from buying the set (pr-ordered it on day one) or to make me not like the films, after all George Lucas created this world and he can bend it as he pleases, it’s good in theory to update it but its not really needed as the fans of it fell in love with the original so that will always be how we imagine the films when we look back on them.
