THE DARK KNIGHT RISES TRAILER RE-DUB - AUDIO CLASS FINAL SUBMISSION (by JeffyBlogs)

Here is my final audio project. I removed all the sound from the trailer and added in music and my own vocal performances with Adobe Audition CS6.

Clearly we are only being marked on our editing skills not our acting.

I’m only posting this because my Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine are so terrible, that it’s worth sharing.

I am not a woman so the voice sounds creepy for her and I can’t do Michael Caine’s accent so I just made him sound like a terrible old man.

Enjoy!

#BATGASM (Spoiler Free I Promise)

The Dark Knight Rises is punctuation on a phenomenal trilogy by an incredibly brilliant filmmaker. Christopher Nolan serves as not only an inspiration to my writing but also as a legend in the industry for the art he creates. We as a fandom could not have asked for a better leader through this process of taking the character of the Batman and properly portraying him on the silver screen. Fanboys and girls (myself included) will forever take issue with the little things, character traits or costumes or backstories etc. what is important is the continuity of the films as a separate entity. The comic books, graphic novels, animation, television, radio, etc. ALL take on their own version of the characters and stories we all love. This adaptation of the Batman was undoubtedly true to the source material in the sense that it captures what Batman is about, what he stands for. No other film(s) have done this quite as successfully as Nolan’s Batman trilogy. He created a universe and thrust beloved characters with rich 70+ year histories into something brand new and reinvented them for our age and it was wonderful. Fanboy gripes aside this saga was created with priority #1 being to tell a story; in an age where selling a story is considered more important that is tragically rare. Christopher Nolan not only created “Batman movies” he created films, works of art, a story that stands on its own as something beautiful. A story which actually required 3 films to tell properly may be a cash cow and is the hot film his summer but the lasting appeal of these films is much more valuable than any money to a true filmmaker such as Mr.Nolan and is top-notch production crew. It was a treat to wait these 7 years to see the finale of this story and to see it come to a close before me and know that it is over, to know there isn’t a The Dark Knight Rises, Again! right around the corner. If ever Batman appears in cinemas again it will be a new story with a new crew at the helm. I hope as a devoted fan that it can live up to or (somehow) top this excellent collection of Batgasmic wonderment. Thank you all involved in these films for your endless entertainment because you really did create something great which is an excellent achievement in this day and age in terms of the film industry which I someday soon wish to be a part of.
